Job Description and Responsibilities:

 

The Enterprise Endpoint Architect supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise endpoint and cloud-based infrastructure environments. This role works collaboratively with technical teams, maintains accurate documentation, provides subject matter expertise on endpoint and security technologies, and supports compliance-driven requirements. The position requires strong technical knowledge, effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences, and a professional, customer-focused approach to delivering reliable solutions.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Work with a team to build Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud-based infrastructure environments with CMMC, NIST 800-171 and/or DFARS 7012 controls.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of environment assets and configuration.
  • Act as subject matter expert for modern security and endpoint management technologies, providing guidance to other engineers and service desk.
  • Occasional travel inside the United States to visit customer locations may be required.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

 

  • BS degree in IT, Computer Science or related field or additional experience accepted in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of related field experience
  • Domain expertise with enterprise endpoint technologies including (but not limited to) Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Defender for Endpoint, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 11, and Windows Server.
  • Experience configuring systems to meet the compliance requirements found in CMMC, NIST 800-171 and/or DFARS 7012. Familiar with industry-standard configuration baselines, such as CIS Benchmarks and CISA SCuBA.
  • Ability to deploy and recommend topologies that support the Zero Trust security model, including multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, and password-less authentication.
  • Proficiency and knowledge with PowerShell or other configuration-as-code platforms.
  • Experience migrating Windows-based networks including but not limited to file servers, email, databases to Office 365, SharePoint, Azure or similar cloud-based solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of core Windows platform technologies including (but not limited to) Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and IIS.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 SaaS components including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to:
    • Effectively communicate the scope of efforts to technical and non-technical audiences
    • Produce readable, concise, and accurate written documentation
  • Strong customer service orientation; be able to maintain a professional demeanor and work well under pressure to handle critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Skill using a framework that focuses on clear problem identification and articulating technical designs.
  • Ability to manage to metrics.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weigh up to thirty (30) pounds, as necessary. 

 

Location/Work Schedule:

 

This is a remote work-from-home position. While the role offers flexibility, the Enterprise Endpoint Architect is expected to be available during standard business hours and maintain a dedicated workspace. Occasionally, this position may require support outside of regular hours, including early mornings or evenings, to meet critical deadlines or business needs.

 

Salary Range:

 

$180,000- $210,000

Pay Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.
